Reflection for the 4th Quarter

Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened

As we come to the end of the fourth quarter, a flood of memories rushes in. It’s hard to believe we’ve reached this point, about to graduate. Looking back, it feels like just yesterday we were nervous freshmen, unsure of what high school held for us. This quarter has been full of emotions. We’ve faced challenges we never thought we could overcome, and yet here we are, stronger than ever. From late nights studying for exams to the joy of finally understanding a difficult concept, each moment has shaped us into the individuals we are today. And as we go back on these experiences, we can’t help but feel grateful for the friends who stood by our side through it all.

Junior high school has been a big part of my life. As I reach the end of it, I can't help but think about all the things I've learned. This last quarter has been especially important. One of the most important things I learned is that it's important to never give up. Sometimes things got really hard, but I kept trying and didn't give up. This taught me that even when things seem tough, I can still keep going and succeed. Another thing I learned is how to manage my time better. With so many things to do, like homework and activities, I had to learn to organize my time wisely. It wasn't easy, but I figured out ways to get everything done without feeling overwhelmed. I also learned the importance of working with others. Whether it was group projects or playing on a team, I realized that working together makes things easier and more fun. I learned to listen to others and share ideas, which helped me grow as a person.

On this quarter, I am reminded of the many lessons I learned, not just from textbooks but from the everyday life at school. It’s the little moments that have left an indelible mark on my heart, the whispered conversations during class, the quiet ambiance found in the library. Each interaction, each experience has shaped me in ways I never thought possible. And as I prepare to bid farewell to this chapter of my life, I am filled with gratitude for the lessons learned and the friendships. I've gained valuable skills and experiences that will stay with me as I move forward. I'm grateful for everything I've learned, and I'm excited to see where life takes me next. "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

A Decade from now

" A little Glimpse of my future "

Ten years from now, I see myself as a degree holder. I will have a stable income and a family to look upon to. My family is the most precious thing I have in the world because they are the ones who push me forward to succeed with my dreams. I can just imagine how happy and grateful l would be to have the life I have always planned.Whenever people ask me what I want to do in life, I always brace myself for the confused stares I know I will be receiving as soon as I reveal my goal to them. Although I'm not entirely sure of my path yet and what I wanted to be, I'm hopeful that I'll discover my true calling soon. For now, my focus is on pursuing my dream of becoming a PMA Cadet. I remember when my father said that he will be the first person to celebrate for my victory one day. To my younger self saying that it's just easy, not until I enter the real world of being a Cadet. To be honest I'm under pressure, and there are so many "What if's?. I have so many dreams it's not enough to mention them all here. Besides of being a Cadet, I also dream that one day I will go abroad and to be able to travel in my dream countries.

Every day, I wake up with determination, knowing that each step I take brings me closer to my goal. The journey to becoming a PMA Cadet is not easy, but I am ready to face the challenges that come my way. Whether it's physical training, academic studies, or leadership development, I am committed to giving my best effort. As I look ahead, I imagine myself standing tall in my uniform, representing not only myself but also the values of courage, integrity, and honor that the PMA stands for. I envision myself leading by example, inspiring others with my dedication and determination. Being a PMA Cadet is not just about wearing a uniform or receiving a prestigious title. It's about the principles of service and sacrifice, of putting others before oneself. I am eager to embrace the responsibility that comes with this role, knowing that it will shape me into a better person, both mentally and morally. In the years to come, I see myself growing and evolving, both as a leader and as an individual. I envision myself making a positive impact not only within the walls of the academy but also in the communities I serve. Whether it's through volunteer work, outreach programs, or simply lending a helping hand, I am determined to make a difference wherever I go.

As I continue to move forward on this journey so far and look towards the future, I am filled with excitement and dedication. While I may not have all the answers right now, I am confident that with determination and the faith I have from above, I will continue to move forward, one step closer to reach my dreams. As I look back on the challenges I faced ,the blocks I leaped over, the obstacles I conquered, with my own strength. Each setback was a stepping stone, preparing me forward for my future. Holding on into this bible verse Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

"Who needs a superhero when I have her?"

Having a mother is also having your best friend, partner in crime, and savior. The will of God for me is fulfilled by my mother; without her, I'm not here, wondering around, enjoying the gift of life, and being able to have the opportunity to learn things. From the moment a woman is pregnant, she is already one of the reasons why we are celebrating Mother's Day. Not only mother by blood is for Mother's Day, but we should also celebrate it for those who stood up to be a guardian to a child. Being a mother is the most beautiful thing that can ever happen to a woman, even if it's hard from the start up until the end, but it's all worth it. I can see the struggle of my mother for us, and I can say that it is never easier than what I imagined. Our mother is the happiest with our achievements and growth, but our mother is the saddest when it's time for us to build our own family and move forward into the so-called real world.

No one can ever tell how hard it is to be a mother, their hardships, sacrifices, sleepless nights, and unconditional love for us. To acknowledge this wonderful and special day, April 13th is held to recognize and show appreciation, gratitude, and love to the most selfless person in our lives, our mother.M other's Day is a special time to thank our mother for all their sacrifices. It's a day to celebrate their hard work and love. The role of a mother is not easy. From sleepless nights with crying babies to balancing multiple responsibilities, mothers work tirelessly to ensure their families are cared for and loved. They often put their own needs aside to prioritize their children and loved ones. Despite the challenges they face, mothers show resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity.

On Mother's Day, it's important to recognize and appreciate the sacrifices mothers make for their families. Whether it's a simple thank you, a hug, or spending quality time together, showing appreciation can mean the world to a mother. Maybe it's just a simple gesture but it means a lot to them. Even if it is not Mother's Day always make our mother feel loved, valued, and appreciated. Because of what they've done, they deserve everything in this world.  Mother's Day is a time to honor and celebrate the love, strength, and unending support that mothers provide every day. They shaped us on what we are today.

What can you do for a change?

Change starts with me. It's a simple concept, but can change the world. When I think about the world, I see many things that need to be different. But I believe that change begins with each person. It starts with me making choices to be kind, helpful, and fair. Change is not easy. It has so many process, with risks, failures and criticism. And, it is often the fear of those that stops one from taking a step towards change. That first step is the hardest and scariest part of the process because it makes one vulnerable. But, it also opens doors for freedom and great opportunities. The decision to bring change is a tough one and staying on that path by actually putting in efforts is equally tough and important but as they say, nothing good ever comes easy.

It's a great idea to want to change the world, and I'm sure we all have different ideas about how to make that happen, but where to begin?.Every little thing I do can make a difference. Whether it's smiling at someone, helping a friend, or standing up for what's right, my actions matter. Change doesn't have to be hard or scary; it can begin with small acts of kindness. By treating others well, I can help make the world a better place.

However, making change also takes courage. It means stepping out of my comfort zone and doing things that might be difficult. It involves admitting when I'm wrong and trying to learn and grow. Change starts with me, but it's something we can all work on together. As I keep trying to be a better person, I know that even my smallest actions can have a big impact on the world around me.

Reflection Third Quarter

HAS COME TO AN END

The third quarter has been quite challenging, but it's also been filled with some of the happiest moments and many cherished memories. As we sped through our lessons on a fast track, the pace of learning was stressful, yet demanding. However, as the quarter drew to a close, we were go through with a particularly stressful week, especially before our Periodical Test. Being part of a special class, I've got used to handle such intense weeks, which I believe will prepare me well for senior high school. I see this as a valuable experience that will help me in the future challenges with more ease.

Throughout this quarter, I've learned a great deal, both in terms of academic lessons and in nurturing my friendships. The lessons taught in class were invaluable, providing me with knowledge and skills that I know will serve me well in the future. But equally important were the friendships I've cultivated. During the tough times, my friends were there to support me, and together, we've grown even closer. These friendships have taught me the importance of loyalty and the strength that comes from facing challenges together. Reflecting on the past few months, I realize that  it hasn't been easy, every challenges has brought its own set of lessons and opportunities for growth. Even during the most stressful moments, I've found reasons to smile and create lasting memories. This quarter has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the power of positivity in the face of circumstances. As I prepare to move forward into the next phase of my academic journey, I carry with me the lessons I learned and the bonds formed during this memorable quarter.

Looking ahead, I feel a sense of readiness to tackle whatever challenges  comes to  my way. The experiences of this quarter have prepared me with the lessons and confidence needed to discover the unknown. I'm grateful for the highs and lows, as they have all contributed to shape me into a stronger and more better individual. Because despite all demanding  school works that was given by some of our  teachers. I'm here today, smiling knowing that I'am stressed enough to give up, but I chose not to. With the support of my friends and the lessons I learned. I'm excited to see what the future holds and to continue growing both academically and personally.

CAOAYAN URBAN LEGENDS

Our Community-Based   Research on urban legends In Baggoc and Manangat, barangay's in Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, it has been an interesting journey. We've been talking to locals who know these stories, and it's really sparked our curiosity. Even if some of the tales seem unbelievable, they're still an important part of our culture, and that's what makes them intriguing. The excitement of knowing these stories is like finding hidden treasures in our own backyard. Interviewing people who have experienced these urban legends  has been eye-opening. They tell their stories with such passion and detail, making us want to learn more. Even if we're not  sure about the truth behind every tale, it's still  intriguing to hear them and understand what they mean to those who share them.

During our Community-Based Research on local urban legends, we had a really great experience that we won't forget. We met an older lady who had a fantastic story to share about a mysterious figure that supposedly roamed our town at night. Her storytelling was so good, and it felt like we were right there with her, experiencing the suspense and excitement . We all listened intently, hanging on to every word she said. What made this experience even better was how it brought our research team closer together. As we discussed the lady's story and the other interviewees , we felt a strong sense of unity and shared purpose. We realized that we were all on this journey together, uncovering the mysteries of our community's past. It was a moment of connection and excitement that bonded us as a team. Exploring these urban legends has helped us understand our community better. They're like pieces of a puzzle that help us see who we are. Even though they're just stories, they play a big role in our culture, and we're glad to delve into them. As we continue our research, we're excited to uncover more hidden gems within our community's folklore. Each story adds a new layer to our understanding of our identity and history. Even if some of these legends seem unbelievable.

This experience showed us the importance of preserving and sharing these urban legends within our community. They're not just stories; they're a part of our heritage and identity. By documenting them, we're keeping our history alive for future generations to learn from and enjoy. It was a reminder of the power of storytelling to bring people together and strengthen our sense of belonging. In a modern world, these urban legends remind us of the wonder and mystery that still exist. They may be hard to believe, but they're part of what makes our community unique. We're grateful for the chance to explore them and learn from the rich variety of stories that make up our cultural and beliefs.
